Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Big Fish Ltd (“we”, “us”) covering your use of the Driving Test Grabber Chrome extension and this website. By installing or using the extension you accept them.
Please read this first: we are not connected to the DVSA or GOV.UK in any way. We cannot create test slots, and we cannot guarantee you will get an earlier one. The extension helps you watch for cancellations; whether any appear is entirely outside our control.
What the extension does
The extension automates parts of the official DVSA driving test booking service in your own browser, using your own booking details, on your behalf. It watches for available test slots that match the criteria you set, and can hold a matching slot so you can review and pay for it yourself. It never completes a payment for you.
No affiliation with the DVSA
Driving Test Grabber is an independent product. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or operated by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, GOV.UK or any government body. All trade marks belong to their respective owners.
Your responsibilities
- You must have a genuine, valid driving test booking or entitlement to book one, and the details you enter must be your own or ones you are authorised to use.
- You are responsible for checking any booking the extension helps you find, including the date, time and test centre, before you pay for or accept it.
- You must use the extension for your own booking, not to resell slots or to book on a commercial scale for others.
- You must comply with the DVSA's own terms and conditions when using their service.
What we do not promise
We provide the extension “as is”. We do not promise that:
- an earlier test slot will become available, or that you will get one;
- the DVSA service will be reachable, or that it will not change in ways that stop the extension working;
- the extension will run without interruption or error.
The DVSA may change its website, or apply security checks, at any time. When that happens the extension may stop working until we update it.
Plans and price
There are two ways to pay, unless a promotional code says otherwise:
- Lifetime — £15, paid once. Access to the extension for as long as we run it.
- Monthly — £2.99 per month. Renews automatically until you cancel.
Payment is handled by Stripe. Your licence is for your personal use and is not transferable.
Cancelling the monthly plan
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal — sign in with the email address you paid with — or by emailing support@drivingtestgrabber.com. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for, and we do not charge a cancellation fee. If a payment fails we will keep your access on for a short period while the payment is retried before it stops.
Immediate access and your right to cancel
Online purchases normally carry a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. A licence for this extension gives you access straight away, so that right works differently here.
When you buy, you are asked to agree to these terms at the checkout. By doing so you expressly request that we supply your licence immediately, and you acknowledge that once your access has been activated you lose the right to cancel under those Regulations. If you would rather keep your 14-day cancellation right, do not complete the purchase — contact us instead and we will arrange it.
We confirm this to you in the receipt Stripe sends when your payment completes.
Refunds
Losing the automatic right to cancel does not leave you without recourse:
- If the extension does not work for you, email support@drivingtestgrabber.com describing what happened and we will refund you. We would rather refund you than have you stuck with something that is not doing its job.
- Your statutory rights are unaffected. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not — including if it stops working because the DVSA changed their site and we have not updated it — you are entitled to a repair, or to a refund or price reduction. Nothing in these terms removes or limits that, and no waiver at checkout affects it.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for a missed, lost or unsuitable test booking, for test fees, or for any loss arising because the DVSA service changed or was unavailable. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Ending your access
You can stop using the extension and remove it at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, in particular by using the extension commercially or with details that are not yours.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change we will update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the extension after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring proceedings in your own country.
